Is ZERO star an option?
Going on three weeks or so now for the siding, nothing but trouble from day one…broken porch lights, blown fuses, terrible craftsmanship, nails/screws everywhere(including my truck tire), countless callbacks, HVAC power supply screwed into, air intakes covered, dryer vent exhaust covered, screw threw the interior wall. I didn’t see a single chalk line used, some cuts are done well with precision but most corners are hacked together and flared out more than the eyeliner in 2010’s. The seams are all over the damn place, it’s already buckling is spots either from poor installation or poor product…not a single one of my accessories clicks properly, so they half ass globbed in some silicone actually glueing some exhaust shut(also they are no longer removable like designed…) they installed an exhaust only type vent on an intake, making it useless(I then, lucky for them, provided them the proper accessory for intake already had on hand) Overall, absolutely not impressed and absolutely not satisfied. Joe Blow and his uncle Billy Moe wouldn’t have messed this up to this degree, and they certainly wouldn’t charge “TOP” DOLLAR for it either. The ol’ bait and switch! Great Job
I was very happy with the quote for new roof for home and garage, AND a new front window. I was told that it may be a little higher if they had to replace more wood on the roof, but the final cost was exactly what was quoted.. very happy! The job was completed within the time they estimated and everything was cleaned up completely, both from the roofing replacement and the window replacement. I never even found a nail!! I was concerned about that because I have grandchildren playing in my yard, so I searched after they left, but found to be totally clean! I would definitely recommend Top Home Improvement. Price is fair/competitive and they follow through!
Nice roof but few issues
Tristen’s sales pitch top-notch, however somewhat inaccurate. He stated shingles would be nailed at edges & the rest kept in place by adhesive, reducing chances of leaks since there would only be 100 nails used. Every shingle received nails. No big deal but misleading & had influence in my decision to sign the “tonight only” contract. He also said gutters would be removed during installation. If they couldn’t re-install the old, we would get new gutters. They weren’t removed & one was bent after installation. We were told a foreman from T.H.I would be onsite overseeing job from start-finish but only staff from Red Maple Roofing were present. I requested foreman to inform me if roof decking needed replacement. He acknowledged my request, but no other contact was made with me before staff left. I assumed no boards were replaced & surprised to be billed for 4 boards. I should add that Red Maple labor crew were excellent. They arrived promptly & did an exceptional job protecting my landscape/flower beds. All in all, we’re happy with our roof but the miscommunications left us disappointed. Cons: inaccurate info, lack of communication, more lead time prior to coming, better clean up after job (gutters/downspouts had lots of nails/shingle debris). Suggest prospective customers get 3 quotes before signing on (we pd $17,000, neighbors pd $11,000 for similar sized Timberline roof). Our bad for falling for subtle but pressured selling technique, live & learn
Wonderful warranty And service.
Steve V. came out and replaced 2 windows that had discolor due to a production error. He replaced them quickly and cleaned up after himself. He made sure that the windows works properly before he left. He left his card and asked that I call him if I have any future concerns. He took the windows to share with the team. Though the problem is rare, he wants them to be aware of it and give them feedback so that product problems like this are caught before install in the future. If all service people were like him, I would Welcome not dread having them in my house. He is friendly, professional, and helpful. Though many home improvement companies say that they want happy customers and that they take responsibility for their products, Steve V. actually does take responsibility on the companies behalf for their Products and service and he doesn’t leave until you really are happy!

New front window
We had an another great experience with top home. They did our roof a few years ago and had them back for a big front window that was leaking and old. They did a great job finding the best window for us and when we had some siding pop off a week later, they promptly came back and fixed it! We have had no problems since and would definitely use them again in the future!
